Particles hit it with an exhibition
last weekend at the Adidas flagship store
in Berlin. The show showcased three toymakersÜžPete
Fowler, Headlock Studios
and Coarse Toys. Fowler°s
entire World of Monsterism
series was presented, as well as two original
paintings. A nearly-complete collection of
Spanky/Headlock Studios toys were on display,
including a full-sized Tom Memphis
designed by Tomoyuki Washio.
Coarse Toys presented their insane new twelve-inch
figures, as well as exclusive artwork made
specifically for the exhibition.
In addition to the exhibition figures,
Pete Fowler announced an Adidas crossover
figure at the show. Still unnamed, the figure
has just won the Monsterism athletic competition
and is raising his fist to demonstrate Monster
power at its fullest. Headlock Studios°s
Ray the Aerosol x Adidas Crossover was available
at the show, packaged in a special three-stripe
shoe box.
