| Strangeco is proud to announce
the premiere of the Recon 12" Action Figure.
The figure and packaging is designed by Stash
and coconspiritor, Colin, and is manufactured
by Merit International, LLC. STRANGEco
will be selling the Recon figure at the Biddies
booth during the Hong Kong Toycon
2003.
The Recon Action figure is available in
three editions corresponding to the Recon
retail locations: New York, Japan and San
Francisco. All feature Recon-branded apparel,
accurately detailed spray paint cans and
a specially designed body with extra shoulder
articulation to accommodate realistic posing
with the Steyr Aug sniper rifle. The versions
are differentiated as follows:
NEW YORK:
Urban Camo M65 Jacket
Black BDU pants
Tan rifle
Spray can cap colors: purple, clear
JAPAN:
Black M65 Jacket
Urban Camo pants
Black rifle
Spray can cap colors: red, clear
SAN FRANCISCO:

Additionally, each edition will feature
a different white Recon tee, and will come
outfitted with 1/6 scale versions of the
recently released Stash x Nike Air
Force Ones.
STRANGEco is releasing a limited
advance quantity of 144 figures
(48 sets) at Toycon for HK$780. The figure
will be on display at the show opening on
Friday, August 22, but will not be sold
until 2PM Saturday, August 23rd.
Each attendee will be limited to 3 figures
(one complete set) only. The figure will
be sold at the BIDDIES booth, number
403.
Toycon 2003 will be held at the Hong Kong
Exhibition Centre (China Resources Building),
August 22-24 11AM-7PM. Admission is HK$20.
