Lots of news today! First off, San Francisco has quite a few great art shows coming this weekend. On Friday night, May 16th, Gallery 1988 San Francisco is opening Unspeakable a two-artist show featuring Joe Ledbetter and Andrew Brandou.
Then, on Saturday night, The Bucheon Gallery is hosting Mars-1 and David Choong Lee's two artist show, Mental and Material Realms. See you there!

Speaking of Mars-1, did you see the bronze version of Electric Monkey Man on the Hi Fructose website? Sculpted by Brin Berliner, totally beautiful. I wonder, will there be a vinyl version of this?

This show isn't in San Francisco, but as far as cities go, Toronto is a decent runner-up. Thursday, May 15, our friends at the Magic Pony Gallery are hosting Minitreehouse creator Nathan Jurevicius, with a solo show of new work titled Reformation.

And an even cooler runner up is Berlin (no offense, Toronto, but I just came back from Berlin and thought it rocked) - Saturday, May 17th Camille Rose Garcia will be in town for a solo show at the Merry Karnowsky Gallery in Berlin.

The Vivisect Playset - MUGS BUNNY by LUKE CHUEH!. This is actually one figure, with three different head sculpts. They all come with the removeable mask. From left to right, the chase figure (with the jagged mouth face), the main figure (sad mugs) and the extra rare chase figure (with three eyes). The figure on the far right shows what Mugs looks like with his mask on.

Designed by Joe Ledbetter and Greg 'Craola' Simkins, Ledkins is one of the chase figures from the series; the pics on Vinyl Pulse feature hand-painted prototypes, so forgive the occasional sqiggly line or blemish. We think it is a pretty awesome collaborative character.
